Hector Dominguez Jr.

 

Hector Dominguez is an educational leader committed to strengthening school systems through a focus on culture, collaboration, and student-centered outcomes. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University and his master’s degree from Walden University. He is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Strategic Leadership at Liberty University, further deepening his expertise in organizational improvement and leadership practice.

Dominguez has been recognized at the state level for his leadership, having been named a finalist for the 2025 Texas Rural Education Association Superintendent of the Year. His work reflects a strong commitment to advancing opportunities for rural school districts and ensuring equitable outcomes for all students.

In addition to his district leadership, Dominguez actively contributes to statewide educational initiatives. He serves on the Texas Rural Education Association Legislative Committee, where he advocates for policies that support rural schools and communities. He also represents Region 3 with the Texas Association of Community Schools, working to strengthen partnerships and expand resources that support the whole child and the broader school community.

Through his leadership, Dominguez continues to champion strategic improvement efforts that prioritize instructional quality, staff development, and a cohesive, supportive school culture.
